How to Use AnTextShare

Sharing Text & Files:

Select the "Text" or "Files" tab.
Enter your text or select a file (max 10MB).
Click the "Share" button.
A unique 4-character code will be generated. Share this with the recipient.

Retrieving Content:

Select the "Retrieve" tab.
Enter the 4-character code you received.
Click "Retrieve Content". The text will appear, or a download button will be shown for files.

Using Live Code:

Go to the "Live Code" tab.
To start a session, click "Create New Session" and share the generated ID.
To join a session, enter the ID you received and click "Join Session".
Text typed by either user will appear in real-time for both.

Privacy & Security

Text & File Sharing: When you share content, it's sent to our secure backend hosted on Firebase. It is accessible only via the unique, randomly generated 4-character code. For your security, all uploaded data is automatically and permanently deleted after 24 hours.

Live Code Sharing: The Live Code feature is built on Peer-to-Peer (P2P) technology using WebRTC. This means your data is sent directly between your browser and the other person's browser, encrypted in transit. It does not pass through our servers, ensuring maximum privacy.
